Scope of ASET13

The 13th Asian Symposium on Ecotechnology, ASET13, will be held in Toyama , Japan , from December 2 (Saturday) and 3 (Sunday) 2006. ASET12 was being organized by Institute of National College of Technology, Japan. (Supported by Toyama National College of Technology, Toyama NCT), and co-organized also by the International Association of Ecotechnology Research. Toyama NCT held the first symposium in 1994, and it has been held every year since. The Committee for the symposium has discussed the concept of ecotechnology at the last 12 symposiums; concluding that ecotechnology is novel and original concept arrived at by joining "E"+"Co"+"Technology" and is based on various backgrounds. This symposium will provide an opportunity to focus on recent developments and to identify and discuss emerging areas of growth in ecotechnology.

The official language of the symposium will be English; Japanese is also available. No translation will be provided.
