In this age of technical innovation with so much of life based on new technology, it is more and more urgent for the progress of both mankind and this country to foster competent engineers who will shoulder the future advance of industrial technology. The goal of this college is to answer these demands - to send to society engineers with a rich sense of humanity, who can fully understand the basis of technology and use it creatively. Situated in the southern part of Toyama City, the capital of Toyama prefecture, commanding a fine view of the peaks of Mt. Tateyama to the east, the school campus, in a spacious rural landscape, has trained students in their most impressionable years under its five-year consistent policy and turned out many promising graduates. It now stands in high public esteem.
